This non-denominational, hour long webinar is the second to last in the Doulas of Color series. This webinar will discuss the more spiritual aspects of birth both for the mother and as a provider in her birthing space. Issues such as practical ways to prevent emotional burnout and attachment to outcomes are also covered. The Matrona’s Holistic Stages of Labor and altered states during birth will be covered. Muneera is a 2015 graduate of Matrona’s midwifery intensive program and a practicing doula, childbirth educator, and peer lactation consultant for the past 7 years. Time will be alloted for questions at the end.
